At the end of April, I paid a visit to Nashville, Tennessee to show at Red River Farm's Spring Barn Sale. It was a quick trip with little free time but I managed to squeeze in a shoot at Radnor Lake. After surviving the drive down an uncomfortably narrow road leading to the park, I headed out on a trail. I'll be honest here - I had no idea where I was going and no idea if I was ever going to actually get to the lake. After over an hour of photography-walking (so, you know, 20 minutes if you're normal walking), I started to question my choice of trails. I could hear the lake and at times I could even see a peek through the trees, but I had no clue how close I would get. Despite being on a time crunch, I blazed ahead and eventually did reach my destination. I'm glad I stuck with it because it was so worth it. Enjoy some of my favorite shots from the park below.
All the best, Melissa
