This past fall I paid another visit to Sharon Woods park. I'd visited the park in fall 2017 and the colors around Sharon Lake were so brilliant I had to visit them again. Nothing makes fall colors better than a beautiful blue sky, so I waited for the perfect day.
I spent Christmas weekend in my hometown of Cleveland, Ohio, and as usual Cleveland delivered a white Christmas. Winter weather might not make for fun travels, but it does make for fun photography. I started at my family home's backyard (where I've also photographed the gardens in spring and summer - check out part one and part two) to explore the snow-covered trees, plants, and patio furniture. Next I visited the Nature Center at Shaker Lakes to walk along the snow-covered paths. Check out some of my favorite shots below!

After just a few minutes at Ault Park, it's easy to see why it's a popular Cincinnati location for photography. The combination of a beautiful park with an event-ready pavilion make it a special location. Throughout the park area and walking trails you'll find blooming gardens, gorgeous fall foliage, and sitting areas perfect for picture taking. At the pavilion, a cascading fountain is at the center of the staircases leading to an overlook. The architecture and details are wonderful to explore.
